A solid bottom line beneath two broken lines represents Thunder: the first impulse and awakening of movement. Trigram lines are traditionally read from bottom to top. Within Bagua, the image describes a pattern of movement and change rather than a single fixed prediction. Interpretation is refined by its place in a hexagram, the question, and surrounding signs.
