Three broken yin lines represent Earth, receptivity, and the capacity to nourish forms. Trigram lines are traditionally read from bottom to top. Within Bagua, the image describes a pattern of movement and change rather than a single fixed prediction. Interpretation is refined by its place in a hexagram, the question, and surrounding signs. Esoteric reading: in divination the sign represents an archetypal movement of qi and suggests which quality should be cultivated, balanced, or released.
